This book offers a variety of the most popular Christmas carols both in traditional movements which were rearranged and in new ones, written by the editor for 4 celli. A choir-like performance by a large ensemble is also possible. The arrangements are a result of working with the ensemble "Dr. Hoch's Philharmonische Cellisten" of which the editor is in charge. The movements are very easy and with only some exceptions they can be played in the 1st position. The songs are less suited for singing along since they are usually notated in a low register. According to the author, it is recommended to enjoy the "pure" cello sound.
