Great piano transcriptions are hard to come by, so take advantage of this one. 13 Morceaux is a wonderful set of three selections from the original collection of solo piano pieces by Sibelius. The first piece, Etude, an accompanimental ostinato in the left hand and an arpeggiated melody in the right hand, requiring much independence and dexterity. The second piece, Carillon. "Bells". , features descending arpeggios involving all four mallets in a beautiful chordal setting. The third piece, Humoresque, moves along at a brisk tempo and requires a quick right hand throughout.
