NC.VJ1333. F. Mendelssohn. Level 4. SATB, bass and drums. "The Spinner" is the best known of the Mendelssohn piano pieces called "Songs Without Words. " As one might guess from the title, it suggests the continuous spinning of thread achieved through a relentless series of 8th notes. In my arrangement the singers underline this atmosphere by using light "oo" sounds.
