Written for the American Band College and their annual summer parade performance while riding on a truck, "To The Max" is a traditional march with modern twists. In homage to Edwin Franko Goldman, the march includes the audience singing and whistling during the trio. The composer even scored a part for the truck's air horn for performance during the parade that prompts a most interesting visual response from the audience. Written for community bands worldwide in both parade and concert settings, "To The Max" will be a standard in the concert repertoire for many years to come.
