Extra Information The vocal designations are singular, i.e. "soprano", not plural, i.e. "soprani". However: (1) one gathers that if solo voices were insisted on the word solo was in fact used; (2) multiple parts for each voice exist at a number of libraries, leading RISM to conclude that (absent something that looks, in addition, like solo part-writing) they have choral parts, and have so noted it. - ES
